Our PYRATEX® citrea family is made with orange peel agri-waste. The orange trees are grown in Sicily, Italy. The orange peels come from the waste that is left over after extracting the juice or active principles of the fruit. During the squeezing season, a lot is produced in a concise amount of time.

We enable the use of orange peels for our knitted textiles to avoid the fiber going to waste as it would otherwise be disposed directly on the soil where the process of fermentation could pollute the soil and the aquifer.
